What we are

Kardel operates a marketplace for moderated vehicle sale listings, applications, and transaction records. The named seller is responsible for the vehicle and the sale terms. A listing alone is not a warranty of condition, title, roadworthiness, price, or availability.

A Kardel verified-partner label reflects the approval basis shown by the platform. It is not a mechanical inspection, title warranty, guarantee of financing, or proof that a payment feature is enabled for that vehicle.

Site research and activity monitoring

With your separate analytics choice, Kardel records page-route templates, page entries, click categories and coarse click coordinates, maximum scroll depth, visible-page time, device class, and visible-page presence heartbeats to research and improve the site. Signed-in research visits may be linked to your Kardel account; guest visits use a short-lived random browser session rather than an identified person.

Authorized administrators with multi-factor authentication may use a developer dashboard to inspect this activity. You can decline or withdraw optional analytics in Cookie settings without losing browsing, messaging, or application functions. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control suppress this research collection. Previous listing-only analytics choices are not automatically applied to this expanded scope.

Kardel also records limited operational messaging metadata: sender and recipient account identifiers, channel, conversation or assignment identifier, and successful send time. This supports communication-flow research and service operation separately from optional browser analytics. The dashboard does not display message text, attachments, typed form values, search queries, raw URLs, IP addresses, or keystrokes. This does not change the separate case-based rules for staff review of message contents.

Developer research records, including messaging metadata, are retained for up to 30 days before bounded maintenance deletion. Scheduled deletion can take additional maintenance cycles while a backlog clears. Original messages, security logs, application records, and backups follow their separate retention rules. Ask through the Privacy policy data-request process about access, objections, or erasure; disabling analytics stops new browser research but does not erase existing records.

Your account

Accounts and vehicle applications are intended for people aged 18 or older. Do not create an account for a child. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under it, so enable two-factor authentication.

Mobile verification may be optional for an inquiry. A particular financing, payment, or seller action may require verified contact details and additional checks.

We may suspend an account while we investigate a report, and close one that repeatedly breaks these terms.

Listings and inquiries

Saving a listing or sending a Kardel message does not reserve, purchase, rent, or win a vehicle and does not create a payment obligation. An application is a request for review; the specific written offer or sale agreement governs any purchase.

Invoices, payment instructions, proof review, and financing downpayment checkout may be available when enabled for a transaction. Kardel does not provide escrow. Auctions and rentals are not active sale routes under these terms.

Listing state, moderation, approved media, and asking-price display are controlled by Kardel's server records. Availability and final terms still need confirmation with the seller.

Messages, reports, and enforcement

Kardel messages are first-party records and are not end-to-end encrypted. Participants must not use them for prohibited content or attempts to evade platform safeguards.

A specific conversation may be reviewed by an authorised named administrator when necessary for a participant report, abuse, fraud, safety, or a legal obligation. Kardel does not provide administrators with a universal or general conversation inbox.

Authorised review is limited to the specific case. Merely opening a case does not make an administrator a participant or allow impersonation of a buyer or seller.

Financing application review

When you submit with financing selected, the financing authorization shown in the application covers review by accredited institutions assigned to that application. Kardel records the authorization text, version, and time. An earlier application without that record requires one confirmation of the financing terms before document access starts.

Assigned institutions may receive your application, quotations, and supporting identity, income, employment, banking, address, business, remittance, maritime, and vehicle ownership documents for this review. Assigned institutions appear in your financing application. You do not need to approve each assignment separately.

Each institution makes its own assessment and proposes its loan terms. Confirming financing review does not accept an offer or authorize a payment. Your offer selection remains a separate action.

You can stop an institution’s future document access through Terms and privacy in your financing application. This does not undo prior lawful processing, cancel an existing agreement, or remove records that must be retained under applicable law. See the Privacy policy for your data rights.

Prices, applications, and consumer rights

A vehicle application is a request for review, not an order or a guarantee of financing. Where an external financing institution is involved, it makes its own decision; a displayed estimate is not an approved offer. Review the full vehicle price, cash-out, downpayment, term, interest, total cost, mandatory charges, and the seller's or lender's written terms before paying.

Layaway and in-house installment terms must be given in writing for the specific vehicle, including payment schedule, missed payments, cancellation and refund conditions, and when title or possession transfers. An inquiry or partial payment alone does not establish those terms.

Paluwagan is not yet a standardised Kardel product with published contribution, allocation, withdrawal, default, or fund-custody rules. Do not treat a listing, message, or application as enrolment in a protected savings or investment program. Any proposed arrangement needs the named operator and complete written terms before a contribution is requested.

Philippine law is the primary basis of these terms. Applicable mandatory consumer and privacy rights remain available, including rights under other laws where they apply. These terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule or waive remedies for defective goods, misrepresentation, or unlawful processing.

Do not publish fabricated reviews, false discounts, unsupported guarantees, or images you do not have permission to use. A seller must disclose known defects and material charges accurately.

Liability

Kardel is responsible for operating the platform with reasonable care, but it does not guarantee a seller's statements, a buyer's conduct, or an external sale arranged after an inquiry.

Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited under Philippine law.
