About Kardel
A Philippine marketplace for finding vehicles and contacting sellers
Kardel publishes moderated vehicle listings from sellers who meet the marketplace's publication requirements. At launch, the indexable category is cars for sale in the Philippines.
What Kardel supports today
Buyers can browse live sale listings, see public vehicle and seller information, save eligible listings after signing in, and start a marketplace conversation or application when the listing supports it. Sellers manage listings and storefronts through authenticated tools. Financing and payment tools depend on the transaction and enabled features. Kardel does not provide escrow; rentals and auctions are not live purchase services.
Publication and moderation
A listing appears publicly only after the seller and storefront are eligible, the listing is live and approved, and an approved public image is available. Publication status can change when inventory expires, is sold, is withdrawn, or no longer meets marketplace rules.
Seller status
Kardel records the seller type and marketplace verification state used for publication. A seller badge is context about marketplace status; it is not a mechanical inspection, title guarantee, financing approval, or promise that a transaction will be completed.
Messages and inquiries
Kardel provides an inquiry-led path between buyers and sellers. Private messages and account areas require authentication and are excluded from search indexing. Buyers should keep sensitive government identifiers, banking credentials, and one-time passwords out of marketplace messages.
What buyers still need to verify
Buyers remain responsible for inspecting the vehicle, checking original records and the seller's authority, using appropriate professional help, agreeing safe payment evidence, and completing LTO and other official processes.
Freshness and corrections
Public inventory updates when listing or storefront publication state changes. Each guide displays its publication and last-reviewed date. Kardel reviews time-sensitive automotive guidance against named primary sources and corrects factual errors when identified.
Data and guarantees
Kardel processes account, listing, storefront, moderation, messaging, application, and limited first-party marketplace analytics data needed to operate its services. Search acquisition reporting stores only a coarse source category, not a search query, full referring URL, IP address, or AI prompt. Kardel does not guarantee ranking, seller performance, vehicle condition, government approval, lender approval, or transaction completion.
