In short: Auctions, bids, bid deposits, proxy bidding, and auction settlement are disabled during the lead-sales pilot.
No live auctions
Kardel does not accept or record bids, hold bid deposits, choose a winning bidder, extend auction clocks, create auction orders, or settle auctions in the current pilot.
A price shown on a sale listing is an asking price for an inquiry. Saving a listing or sending a message is not a bid and does not reserve or purchase the vehicle.
Sale inquiries only
The public marketplace supports moderated sale listings, inquiries, and vehicle applications. Auction listings and bidding controls must not appear operational.
Report any account that asks for a supposed Kardel bid deposit or claims that a Kardel auction has been won. Kardel does not collect those deposits or issue those awards.
Future auction terms
Any future auction product will need its own published eligibility, deposit, bidding, anti-manipulation, settlement, cancellation, and appeal terms before launch.
This availability notice is not a set of active auction rules and creates no bidding or payment obligation.
